Requisite Abilities and Skills

  • Perform requirement gathering with business users and SMEs, and create actionable plans.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud DLP, Cloud KMS, Cloud Armor, Cloud IAM, and IAM Audit Logs.
  • Expertise in data encryption at rest and in motion using Cloud KMS.
  • Extensive experience in PII and PCI data management, data redaction, and DLP Custom Infotypes.
  • Proficient in creating data security policies, data classification, encryption, and pseudonymization.
  • Implement data classification for incoming data and access controls based on data domains.
  • Perform ETL and data engineering tasks using Google Cloud components like Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Data Proc, and BigQuery.
  • Knowledgeable in SQL queries, ETL processes, and reporting; familiarity with Google BigQuery is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong task management, organizational, and team collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in scripting languages and Cloud solutions is a bonus.

Key Accountabilities and Priorities

  • Collaborate with customers to prepare security matrices for PII and PCI data, providing thought leadership on Cloud Security.
  • Develop security roadmaps, security matrices, data classification policies, and access control and encryption standards.
  • Independently manage assigned projects while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
  • Gather business requirements, review priorities, analyze options, and assess risks.

Additional Information

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 8+ years in Information Technology or IT Professional Services.
